The reenactment season begins in March and ends in November. The reenactment takes place about one weekend a month. They are held in the local area as well as at actual Civil War Battlefields. Camp is setup on Friday night but reenactors who cannot come on Friday may come on Saturday morning.
During the reenactment season we may participate with other units in a living history encampment. This encompasses the setting up of camp to demonstrate and interpret this period of history for the spectators.
The 11th takes part in local parades. Marching and shooting for the entertainment of the public. This is also a fundraiser for our unit. Parades give us a chance to show off before our families, friends and neighbors..
